Secure your SporTube Series 2 Hardshell Ski/Fishing Pole Case onto your vehicle for your next adventure with the SporTube Roof Rack Mounting Brackets For Series 2 Hardshell Ski/Fishing Pole Cargo Case from Nomadic Supply Company®. The two mounting brackets are easily attached to your existing roof rack assembly and can be locked for added security with the included steel laminated padlock. When needed, the SporTube Roof Rack Mounting Brackets For Series 2 Hardshell Ski/Fishing Pole Cargo Case are easily and quickly removed.The maximum length of our Series 1 & 2 cases is 83”.The Series 3 max length is 72”.

• Post Assembly

SporTube Roof Rack Mounting Brackets Installation Instructions:

To Install:

1. Position the post assembly so the two 5/16-18 fasteners are on each side of the cross bars.
2. Using the included Allen key, tighten the bottom clamp and post assembly together.Be sure that the metal side faces down.Repeat for second bracket.
3. Position Sportube on the cross bars so it is tight against the post assembly.The front post assembly MUST fall between the two handles of the Sportube.
4. Slide U-bracket’s onto post assembly.
5. Slide post lock through the holes found on the post assembly and U-bracket and tighten lock into place.Use tension handle on top to tighten the U-bracket down on the Sportube.Repeat for second bracket.

To Remove:

1. Loosen the tension handle.
2. Loosen the post lock and pin.
3. Remove U-Bracket off of post assembly.It is safe to leave your post assembly on your roof racks if you like and only remove the pin, lock and U-brackets.

You can use the same post assembly for both SporTube Series 1 Hardshell Ski/Fishing Pole Case and SporTube Series 2 Hardshell Ski/Fishing Pole Case, however, the U-brackets are not interchangeable.
