SeaStar Steering Kit w/ HC5348-3 Cylinder HH5271-3 Helm Outboard Steering

Description

New SeaStar hydraulic outboard steering system. This is the same as the HK6400A-3 SeaStar kit, but includes the alternate HC5348-3 cylinder used on some specific outboard applications (more information below).

Features

• 5 Turns Lock-to-Lock (1.7 cu. in. displacement helm)
• Standard 3/4″ Tapered Keyed Steering Shaft (threaded end of steering shaft is 5/8″-18UNF)
• Patented No FeedBack™ (NFB) Lock Valves
• Exceeds NMMA and ABYC Standards

Works ForBoats up to 60 mph with single outboards up to 300 HP or twin outboards up to 450 hp (non-counter rotating) / 600 hp (counter rotating). Twin engine applications require a tie bar kit. The SeaStar requires a 3″ (76mm) cut-out hole in the dash and a minimum 21″ (534mm) splashwell width.

Cylinder/RamThe SeaStar kit normally comes with an HC5345-3 cylinder, but this kit includes the HC5348-3 alternate cylinder to fit 1977-1990 Johnson/Evinrude 65-300 HP outboards, 1996 Suzuki 115-140 HP outboards, and 2003-Date Yamaha 25-70 HP 4-stroke outboards. Verify that your outboard needs the HC5348-3 cylinder using the application guide in the product images prior to ordering.
