Description

New SeaStar (Teleflex Marine) NFB rack & pinion mechanical steering system. Part number SS15117. Includes cable, helm, and bezel to fully replace an existing steering system or as part of a new installation. Features “No FeedBack” technology to lock out steering loads, a 4.0-turn lock-to-lock helm, and a common 3/4″ tapered keyed steering shaft for wheels up to 16″. Suitable for most outboards up to 150 HP that have a tilt tube and link arm. For new installations, please double-check that the rack will fit inside your dash (behind your steering wheel). Cable Length (Important!)This system comes with a 17 foot cable (SS15117). Read the measuring guide in the product photos thoroughly to make sure it is what you need. The 17ft is measured from the center of the rack (where gear is visible) to the end of the stainless shaft that connects to the link arm. If measuring an existing cable and you only measure the cable jacket, it will be too short!
