Description
New SeaStar (Teleflex Marine) NFB Safe-T II mechanical rotary steering system. Part number SS13217. Includes cable, helm, and bezel to fully replace an existing steering system or as part of a new installation. Features “No FeedBack” (NFB) technology to lock out steering loads, a quick-response 3.0-turn lock-to-lock helm, and a common 3/4″ tapered keyed steering shaft for wheels up to 16″. Suitable for most outboards up to 100 HP that have a tilt tube and link arm.
Cable Length (Important!)This system comes with a 17 foot cable (SS13217). Read the measuring guide in the product photos thoroughly to make sure it is what you need. The 17ft is measured from the helm connector to the end of the stainless shaft that connects to the link arm. If measuring an existing cable and you only measure the cable jacket, it will be too short!
