Transhield covers may be left on boats for an indefinite period of time without causing moisture damage, allowing boats to be stored outdoors as well as tailored. A water-resistant, shrinkable, outer layer provides protection from rain, snow, sun, dirt, and other airborne pollutants and debris. The middle layer is a hot olefin adhesive, and the inner layer is a soft polyester non-woven material to protect against etching and scratching.
