CLUTCH DOG (REC52-850048T) In manual transmissions, it is used to lock specific gears to the spinning input and output shafts. A synchromesh arrangement assures smooth engagement by synchronizing the shaft speeds before allowing the dog clutch to contact a synchromesh arrangement for smooth sailing. This clutch dog replaces OE: 52-850048T and 30-65HP units utilizing a 4.250″ bullet diameter “Big Foot” gearcase, as well as Mercury and Mariner inline “Metric” motors 70-125HP. It also fits a Force 90-125HP lower unit. It is compatible with Mercury Mariner OEM: 52-850048T, 52-850098T, and 850048 aftermarket GLM11063. Key Features:
