The J/E GAUGE BAR 18-9891 is a mechanical measurement tool for Johnson Evinrude. It gives an accurate reading of the space between two parallel surfaces. The J/E GAUGE BAR 18-9891 has thicknesses calibrated correctly and can fold or fan out as needed when you take the measurement. They can also be recessed back on one another to fit into the gauge handle. The high-carbon steel construction ensures that it will not compress during the measurement process.
